Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to shop thelunesse with ease, and we are working toward the WCAG 2.1 AA standard as an ongoing commitment.
Our commitment
We are committed to making our website usable for as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to align with the spirit of the European Accessibility Act and the US Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessibility is treated as part of how we design and build, not an afterthought.
Measures we take
- — Semantic, well-structured markup with clear headings and landmarks.
- — Full keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
- — Descriptive alternative text for product and editorial imagery.
- — Attention to colour contrast and legible type sizes.
- — Support for reduced-motion preferences.
- — Responsive layouts that adapt to mobile, zoom and assistive technologies.
Ongoing efforts & limitations
Accessibility is a continuing effort rather than a fixed destination. We test with keyboards and screen readers, review new features as we ship them, and correct issues as we find them. We do not claim full or certified conformance: some content or third-party components may not yet meet every criterion, and full conformance requires continual testing with assistive technologies and expert review, which we carry out over time.
Report a barrier
If you encounter a barrier, or need information or a piece in a different format, please tell us. Email care@thelunesse.com with the page address and a short description of the problem, and we will help directly and prioritise a fix. Your feedback genuinely shapes our improvements.
